Things are in high gear here at Sand Dollar this summer. We have a special guest ding repair pro helping us out a couple days a week. Rich Wood (Woody) from Pacifica has been making the trek to our shop and working his magic. It’s obvious the guy has spent many years perfecting his craft. We’re stoked!

If you’ve had a perfect color match done by Sand Dollar recently there’s a good chance it was done by our very own Ian Delgado. Ian has been a major part of the Sand Dollar team for quite a while. Besides completely shredding at all aspects of the surfboard repair art, Ian is an all around cool dude.

Anyway, thanks to these guys turnaround time is a week to ten days. Pictured here is Ian showing how it’s done.

We were stoked to see Acrassicauda play in San Francisco not too long ago. It was their first west coast tour. They are from Iraq. Check out their story in the documentary Heavy Metal In Baghdad.
